Abundance is often confused with greed. Greed is an obsession with more. Abundance is having enough (being able) to share. Its really that simple.

Maybe it will be easier to think of it as a way to give more. Think of it as a flow of abundance. If you receive, you can give, so the next person can receive and so on. You are the next person. Allow the giver, whoever or whatever that is, to fulfill their purpose and give. Accept the gift so you can give in turn. Let the rivers of abundance flow.

The trick to asking is to be specific AND to be sure to ask that when the abundance is flowing to you, it benefits all connected to it. See how it shifts your thinking? Now, you’re spreading love and abundance all over the place. Just remember to be ready to accept and pass it along.

You deserve happiness in every facet of your life. The universe is ready to give you every abundance you can imagine.

OK, I’ve had wrinkles for many (many) years but these wrinkles are showing up in direct proportion to the weight loss. I can’t say I’m happy about it but after realizing they were there all along, just stretched out over – dare I say it – chubbiness (I couldn’t say it), I also realized I would much rather have a few more wrinkles than the excess weight. After all, I’m trying to be healthier and take good care of myself so I can be around for a long, long time.

And such is life, sometimes doing the right thing gives you something else you didn’t expect or want. So you have to take a good attitude and accept the changes and move on. I’m still going to do the right thing – watch what I eat and stay active and the wrinkles aren’t going anywhere and more may even join them. But they’re mine and I love them as they’re now a reminder of the – ok, I’ll say it – fat that was hiding them from me and the world.

But something else happened when I saw those wrinkles appearing seemingly overnight. It dawned on me that I’m getting older and haven’t really faced it. What am I going to do for the rest of my life?

When this realization hit me (like a ton of bricks!) I had to do some real soul searching. And you know what? It was all there. Everything I needed. Ready for me to bring to life. I have so much to do! This is just the beginning not “the rest”.

Do you have wrinkles hiding behind fat? Are there things in your life that you haven’t faced or aren’t ready to take responsibility for – so you live with the situation that’s hiding it?

Do the right thing. Lose the fat and face the wrinkles. Uncover your truth and begin. You’ll be so glad you did.

Be true to your Self and you’re true to All. You cannot be true to mankind until you are true to your Self. You cannot be true to your Self and not be true to everyone, everything, All. It is impossible. Maybe that’s where we lost our way. We thought we could be true to our Self and not have be true to everything that exists. We let our egos get in the way.

Seek your truth within. Find out who you are and how you are connected to everyone, everything that surrounds you. Be true to your Self and everything falls into place.

I’ve never been good at story telling and am very grateful for folks who are, like David Weedmark, author of The Nature of Trees.

The Nature of Trees is a spiritual journey that examines the relationship between the ego and the soul along one’s life path.

From The Nature of Trees:

“From my own experience, I would suggest that there are really three aspects of the self. Each is distinct from the others, but only when they are brought together is the self complete.

First, I would say, there is the Ego.

Second, there is the Soul.

And third, there is the Path.

The Ego is the portion of our self that exists only in this world. It perceives the world around you and your body as being the only reality. It is more than your personality, but is certainly not the totality of who you are. It sometimes appears to have many voices. Perhaps those voices were what you were trying to number. I should suspect its capacity for disguise is almost limitless, but beneath each of those disguises, there is only one Ego.

The Soul is the portion of the self that transcends the physical world. It neither perceives nor is affected by the world around you. It neither perceives nor is bound to your body.

The Path is the place where you have balance between the Ego and the Soul.”

I was so grateful to find David and his wonderful book. In my journey of searching, I hadn’t been able to balance ego and soul and was growing frustrated not knowing what I was supposed to do with this “knowledge”.

Reading The Nature of Trees, I found the balance I was looking for in my life’s purpose, my path. I knew I had to trust what I felt in my heart and follow my intuition, follow my path.

I also knew I had to befriend my ego and allow my soul to lead the way. This is a discovery that has changed my life. I thank David with all my heart for his sharing his beautiful story. I hope you find peace in your heart when you read it. I hope you discover your balance. Love and blessings, TJ

Molly’s interest is in eco marketing and she hopes what she’s doing will help others become aware of what they can do to raise awareness of being green. Namely companies in their marketing/advertising campaigns.

It may not feel like it when she’s making deadlines or filing paperwork but Molly is making a difference. Not only is she making the companies aware of their contribution to being green, but she’s making the consumer aware how they can contribute. A win-win situation.

One person makes a difference. Never doubt that.

It doesn’t have to be anything as big as green marketing. I thought it was funny Molly didn’t think she’s doing anything big. She says she’s just doing her job, putting her twist on it by emphasizing being green. But each of us has the ability to make a difference whether you’re a big company, an advertising agency or an individual consumer.

Next time you wonder if you’re making a difference, take a look at what you do, what you say, what you think. All of it makes a difference even if it feels like you’re just doing your job.

As you learn more about yourself through the many different teachers and methods of navigating your path, you should write down your experiences and thoughts about them. I wish I’d done this years ago. I have a few emails and written pieces, but not the journal I’m encouraging you to start. That would have been, not only a teaching instrument in itself, but also fun to read now.

I hope you’ll start one. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy but if you can, get one that you can’t tear the pages out. Trust me, later, you’ll know why.

I loved you before time, before memories, before thinking..

I will love you when all of this is gone, when I am no longer remembered, when the dust that was my body blows unhindered..

Why?

Because it is known as the Central Mystery of Science showing the only mystery of quantum mechanics.

Again, why? You ask.

Because it shows how the act of observing (being an observer) effects how particles (we’re all made of these, in fact everything is made of these) behave.

What does that have to do with spirituality/higher consciousness/energy/law of attraction?

It helps us understand how we effect our surroundings. It shows how science is looking at the tinsyest amount of matter and finding it depends on us to determine how it behaves. Imagine that!

The speaker, Ross Rohdes, makes it entertaining and its geared toward everyday people. Its about 60 minutes altogether (8 parts), but you can skip parts of it if you understand it already or get a bowl of popcorn and make yourself comfortable.

Its well worth watching to see how science is looking differently at who we are. I think you’ll be glad you watched. The good stuff is toward the end – naturally.  I think you’ll be surprised.
